SIXTH SINGAPORE YOUTH DELEGATION
TO SWITZERLAND
23 May - 6 JUNE 2000

The NYAA Council sent a group of 10 youth leaders led by Mrs Helen Tan, Assistant Director, Ministry of Education from 23 May to 6 June 2000 to Switzerland.

During the trip, the youth leaders visited various Swiss companies, the Chamber of Commerce, Media Centre, Swiss Army Headquarters, Swissair and the House of Parliament.They also met up with the Swiss Cabinet Ministers and Members of Parliament.

Apart from official events, the youths also conducted interviews with the Swiss locals on their outlook and environmental attitude towards keeping the nation clean and green.The survey was tabulated, analysed presented to the Ministry of Environment.
