FIFTH SWISS YOUTH DELEGATION
TO SINGAPORE
25 JUNE TO 11 JULY 2000

An 11-member Swiss Youth Delegation visited Singapore from 28 June to 11 July 2000.

The bi-lateral youth exchange programme between Singapore and Switzerland for the year 2000 was co-ordinated by the Swiss Department of Education and the NYAA Council.

During their visit to Singapore, the Swiss Youth Delegation visited our educational institutions, the Singapore Trade Development Board, the Associations of Small and Medium Enterprises, Info-Communication Development Authority, Information Technologies Companies and a Town Council. They also met some some political leaders and visited the Parliament House.

The highlights of their visit were the Singapore Youth Festival, the National Day Rehearsal and a dialogue with the press.
